As a 7-year and counting lung cancer survivor, the CTCC event is near and dear to my heart. I received all of my treatment locally in 2017 and will be forever grateful to the care team at the Lafayette Family Cancer Institute in Brewer. Unfortunately, so many of us, or loved ones of ours, have been or will be impacted by cancer. Help fight back - please join the 2024 Challenge and walk with me!

This is the 15th anniversary of the Champion The Cure Challenge (CTCC). Join in to help bring the latest care advancements, technologies, clinical trials, treatment research and survivorship programs to Maine by participating in Champion the Cure Challenge. The Challenge is northern and eastern Maine’s largest fundraising event, and all the money raised stays in our communities to support patient care and research at the Lafayette Family Cancer Institute and Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center.

Cancer touches virtually every individual and family in Maine, but there’s a brighter future ahead for those affected by cancer. By participating in The Challenge, we are helping to make this future a reality, and I invite others to join me in working to defeat cancer.
