The next decade holds so much promise—hope for less chemo, more cures—and I’m proud to play a small part in that progress by participating in Champion the Cure Challenge.
This amazing event is the largest fundraising effort in northern and eastern Maine, and what makes it truly special is that every dollar raised stays right here in our communities. The funds support patient care and cancer research at the Lafayette Family Cancer Institute and Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center.
Here’s what your support can do:
$25 provides a food insecurity bag or a gas card for one patient
$75 covers a gas card for a Boston appointment or three food bags
$125 helps five patients with gas or meals
$250 pays for lodging—two nights locally or one in Boston
Cancer has touched nearly every family in Maine, including mine, but there is hope—and a better future ahead.
Taking part in The Challenge allows me to stand with those fighting cancer and help move us closer to a cure.
I’d love for you to join me in making a difference.
Thank you for considering.
